The subconscious mind is like a corridor, that has a string of doors arranged in parallel on both sides. Each door has a distinct memory in it, safely locked in. After getting into a suspect’s subconsciousness, a.k.a the Memory Palace, William enters the first door to witness the suspect’s memory as the suspects re-live their memories, like it is their first time. During this so called Hunting Session, suspects can’t see William watching them, because William is not a part of their memory, he is just watching it -- like one would watch a movie.William’s family - wife and two daughters have been brutally murdered over ten years ago and the murderers are still at large. As his pain of not being able to find his family’s murderers after ten years is reaching it’s zenith, he is asked to ‘Hunt’ the memories of Ms White, a widow of a rich banker, who’s husband was murdered in cold blood. As William starts navigating her memory, he gets into a house that looks too familiar to him. He feels that he has been to the house before. For the first time, William is not in control of this Hunting Session. The killer, wearing a black trench coat, with gloves and a mask, breaks into the house and kills the banker. As William is witnessing this scene and trying hard to figure out why he recognizes this house so much, the killer turns around and looks straight at him, like he could see him. He comes closer to William and says “I know you’re there,” and removes the mask -- to William’s horror, he sees that the killer, is he himself!Who is this man?How could he see William inside of a Hunting Session? How could he talk to William inside of a Hunting Session? How could this man be William himself? How could William kill somebody he does not even know? How could this be the widow’s memory if it never actually happened? Or did it?
